Daikoku-ten (大黒天) is originates from Hinduism, and in Japan there are three kinds of Daikoku which differ in from and implication: Mahayana Buddhism, Esoteric Buddhism and created through syncretization of "Ōkuninushi no Mikoto" (a Shinto deity) with Daikoku-ten of Buddhism.
Daikoku-ten is known as a god who gives wealth. This Daikokuten belongs to Mahayana Buddhism.
